About

I always intended to homeschool my two children when they were old enough, but my plans were kicked into gear early when we were granted custody of three more children (and we found out I was also pregnant) and one of them was already school-aged. I knew that if I still wanted to homeschool, then I had to figure it out immediately.

IT. WASN'T. EASY. There is so much overwhelming and conflicting information out there about homeschooling.

But because of the time crunch that I was in, I had to just get started

From having to figure out homeschooling at the drop of a hat, to homeschooling several children at the same time (we now have 6), we've learned that the key to making this work is by keeping it simple and realistic. If you do this, you'll be able to get started immediately, and you'll always be able to keep going.

But it seems that the homeschooling industry doesn't want parents and guardians to know that homeschooling can be simple and realistic.

As parents turn to homeschooling, many end up becoming discouraged and overwhelmed before they're even able to get started. It can be difficult to navigate all of the books, websites, and Pinterest boards dedicated to homeschooling, as many of them provide exaggerated and unrealistic portrayals and "advice".

Our mission at We Can Homeschool Too is to provide no-fluff direction so that families can avoid heading down rabbit holes of overwhelming information, and instead have the simple and realistic homeschooling experience they deserve.
